Alan Anibal, MA
Co-Founder, CEO Music Institute, Piano Instructor
With more than fifteen years working in music education, teaching piano and voice to undergraduate students, teenagers, and young children. Alan has taught at music schools across the country, specially in New York, New Jersey, and Palo Alto. Alan Anibal is co-founder of Bravissimo! Music Institute and Creative Studio and Artistic Director and conductor of the Sunnyvale Youth Philharmonic. Mr. Anibal has a Master’s Degree in Conducting from Bard College where he studied under the guidance of renowned conductors Harold Farberman, Apo Hsu, and Leon Botstein. Mr. Aníbal was appointed Conductor of Festival Opera’s 2018 Season, leading the critically acclaimed productions of La Bohème, Tosca, and Die Fledermaus. In the Santa Rosa Symphony (CA), he led the Santa Rosa Debut Youth Orchestra. He was Guest Conductor for the 2017-2018 Season of the Fremont Symphony Orchestra. Alan served as the artistic director the Napa Valley Youth Symphony’s Artistic Director for four years. A tenor, he was mentored in Opera singing by renowned tenors Benito Maresca (Italy and Brazil) and Rufus Muller (NYC).
Dr. Xinying He, PhD
Piano Instructor
Dr. Xinying He is a pianist, music educator, and performer dedicated to inspiring students through artistic excellence, individualized instruction, and a lifelong appreciation for music. She began studying piano at the age of six, and music has remained at the center of her academic, professional, and artistic journey ever since. Dr. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance from The Ohio State University. She also earned a Master
of Music degree in Piano Performance from Bowling Green State University and a Master of Arts degree in Music Education from Nanjing Normal University. Her diverse academic training allows her to combine advanced performance expertise with effective pedagogical approaches, creating engaging and meaningful learning experiences for students of all ages and levels.
Eric Wu, MTAC
Piano, Guitar, Flute Instructor
Eric Wu began studying piano at the age of five and has been immersed in music for over two decades. He holds a Level 10 Certificate of Merit (CM) from the Music Teachers’ Association of California (MTAC) in piano, and has extensive experience teaching piano, guitar, drums, flute, and saxophone. With a deep passion for music, Eric enjoys guiding students toward their goals, whether in classical training, popular music, or creative arrangements. His students appreciate his patience, enthusiasm, and dedication to their growth. Eric’s ultimate goal is to help each student discover their own love for music and reach their highest potential. Eric also appreciates the study of psychology, and has years of experience teaching students on different educational spectrums.
